DIRECTIONS:
From Auckland take State Highway (SH) 1 on the Southern Motorway to Pokeno, turn left onto SH2 and follow the signs to Thames via SH25. Just after crossing on a long, traffic light controlled one way bridge, you reach Kopu. Turn right following the sign to Tairua and Whangamata. 800 metres past Kopu turn left on SH25A.
Follow the SH25 - passing Tairua till you arrive Whenuakite after 45min. Take the road to the right (Hahei & Hot Water Beach).
Carry on along Hot Water Beach Road for 5 kms. Veer left on to Link Road and drive 3.2 kms until you come to a T-intersection. Turn left at intersection, drive for 400m and Lees Road is on the right. We are 2.8kms up Lees Road on the right |
